The title of the new Scales C.D. "Grounded" leaves room for the listeners imagination, the composers understanding of "Grounded" is down to earth, of course if the listener  should come to the conclusion  that it means " back to their roots " they are also on the right track. Whereby their roots are a complex situation. The brothers Patrick and Martin Scales first saw the light of day in the upper Bavarian town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. And they can trace their roots not only to Germany but also back to the Emerald Isle.
During their musical career they have dropped  their anchor all over the planet and deep into mother earth. Their music takes you on a journey from Munich to Brazil, and to the wild outback of  Australia. Then further afield with the sounds off South and West Africa, then on to the pulsating feeling of  metropolitan America
